We're seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer - Tissue to join our innovative team in Deeside. What you'll do:
* Supporting the project team in the infrastructure of the factory building.
* Support in forming technical specifications of machines, buildings and equipment.
* Support in working with the team to prepare for start-up and beyond.
* Training the hired operators.
* Preparing weekly/monthly project/reports.
* Support in helping grow a newly developing team
What you'll bring:
* Installation, commissioning, start-up and acceptance test support of machines and equipment.
* Knowledge of all aspects of a Tissue paper machine, pulping equipment, chemical dosing systems and how they operate.
* Monitoring of production processes and work methods; collecting, compiling and analysing of production data to identify opportunities to improve production processes.
* Knowledge of troubleshooting by use of various root cause analysis methodology.
* Being a Self-starter and hard working with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work as a team player.
* Experience of SAP, SAGE and MS office is essential.
* Ability to work in a changing environment with a flexible approach.
* Highly motivated and proactive in order to develop and grow with the business.
* Work closely with other functions, such as supply chain, procurement to create, develop and deliver new products and innovations
* Work and communicate effectively with different departments and functions to deliver against the project network timings and identify and manage risks.
Key Requirements:
* Degree qualified or equivalent, preferably in Chemical engineering, Process Engineering or similar.
* Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments
* A creative, logical and analytical mind to generate solutions to technical design problems and understand the risks and solving problems.
* Ability to respond quickly to change in priorities
* You will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated with good verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate complex engineering and design principles to people at all levels of the business, across different functions.
Working Conditions:
You will work on-site within a Project village within a major construction site.
The ability to travel both within the UK and overseas is necessary for this position.
