You'll be responsible for delivering a continuous flow of new business and identifying future opportunities in both competitive tendering and design & build projects. This is a key position within our Preconstruction and Estimating team, working on projects ranging from £100k to £8m across Cambridge, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Norwich, and London.
Key Responsibilities
* Pursue new business opportunities and manage tender submissions
* Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
* Visit project sites, review bids/specifications, and prepare quotations
* Compile construction sequencing programmes and pricing for tender bids
* Analyse risks, perform take-offs, and conduct post-tender analysis
* Negotiate material costs and produce detailed scopes of work
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and company policies
What We're Looking For
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in construction/fit-out estimating
* Strong understanding of construction processes and building regulations
* Competence in Microsoft Office; experience with Eque2 Evaluate and MS Project is desirable
