Domestic or Commercial Gas Engineer – South Manchester
£38,000 - £44,000 + Overtime + Van + Training – based on a 40-hour week
Leading Building Services Consultancy focused solely on the commercial market is expanding their Mechanical division. Widely recognized as one of the fastest-growing M&E consultancies and covering work exclusively in the North-West, they are currently seeking a Gas Engineer from either a domestic or commercial background to work on a variety of sites including:
* Schools and educational establishments
* Retail outlets
* Hospitality venues
* Government buildings
Responsibilities of the Gas Engineer include:
* Installation of gas appliances and systems
* Maintenance and servicing of gas appliances, fault-finding, and repairs on heating systems, boilers, and gas appliances
* Gas Safety Inspections
* Participation in a 1 in 8 call-outs rota
* Completion and maintenance of accurate service reports and certificates
Electrical experience required
* 5+ years working as a qualified Gas Engineer (Domestic or Commercial)
* Qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, COCN1, TPCP1A, CODNCO1
* Excellent customer service skills, dealing face-to-face with customers, maintaining site standards
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* A full UK driving license
