Your New Role
As a Building Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and specifying day-to-day repairs, conducting stock condition and measured surveys, and managing contractors to ensure work ispleted efficiently and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with the Senior Building Surveyor and use your expertise to advise on legislation, health & safetypliance, and cost control, while maintaining accurate records andmunicating effectively with clients and residents.
What You'll Need to Succeed
1. Proven experience in housing maintenance within a Local Authority
2. HRA experience
3. Strong knowledge of building construction, pathology, and legislation
4. Practical surveying skills and familiarity with health & safety regulations
5. Ability to manage contractors and resolve disputes
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and surveying software
7. Excellent planning, organisation, andmunication skills
8. Full valid Driving Licence with access to a car
9. An HNC in Construction would be preferred
