Are you an experienced Machine Operative with a good understanding of static plants and isolation procedures?
Do you have a great eye for detail and fault finding and are happy to work outside in all weathers?
If you answered yes then Holcim are looking for someone just like you to join them as a fixed plant operative trialling a new project. The successful candidate will be someone who has a manufacturing background, is flexible and happy to work independently.
Role - Fixed plant walker
Pay - £13.25 per hour
Location- Holcim, Bardon Hill, Coalville LE67 1TD
Shift pattern- 05.00am - 2.00pm (48hrs per week)
Duration- 3-6 months initially
Start date - Jan
Responsibilities:
Walk the plant
Maintain the wash plant
Basic fault finding
Check all production belts are working correctly
Highlight and report back on any work that needs undertaking
Driver the process of getting any issues fixed in a timely manner
Communicating with internal and external contacts in a clear and efficient manner Experience needed:
Prior experience in a manufacturing/production environment
Previous experience as a machine operator
Capacity to operate with minimal supervision
Strong IT literacy skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Great attention to detail
