You’ll be paid a salary of up to £32,500 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Utilise available resources to allocate and distribute tasks within the operation to maximise efficiency in order to achieve and exceed customer KPI's/productivity targets
* Create and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all, to improve employee engagement
* Identify cost saving initiatives and implement corrective actions where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of the warehouse operation
* With good understanding of Health & Safety you’ll strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* A proven track record at a similar level, within a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation
* Excellent people skills - the ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success
