Base pay range
Lecturer - Trainer Assessor - Plumbing and Gas (fixed-term, part-time evening classes)
We are looking for a Lecturer/Trainer Assessor - Plumbing and Gas to join our Construction Team.
Part-time, temporary role offering a salary of up to £11,170.22 per annum.
This role is 9hrs per week, covering 6 hrs teaching time across 2 evenings.
Fixed term dates: Immediate start available - contract ends August 2025.

Job Purpose:
Assist with the development, organisation, and management of high-quality teaching and learning in the Construction/Electrical curriculum area. Provide flexible teaching, learning, advice, and assessment to students on Work-Based Learning programmes in the workplace or on college sites.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a teaching or training qualification, e.g., Level 3 Award in Education & Training or PTLLS, or be willing to work towards within 12 months.
* Minimum Level 2 English (GCSE A-C or equivalent) and Level 2 Maths (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
* Possess a full understanding of all aspects of Plumbing & Gas, underpinned by relevant industrial experience.
* Experience in delivering underpinning knowledge and occupational skills to groups and/or individuals.
* Ability to use ICT for training, assessment, support, tracking student progress, and analysis, including e-portfolios.
