Business Development Manager role at TieTalent — Halifax, West Yorkshire. £35,000 + per annum starting salary + Commission. Permanent position.
A successful and well-established industrial materials business, based in Halifax, is currently looking for an experienced sales professional to develop existing business accounts, identify and secure new business opportunities, and nurture and build long-lasting profitable working relationships.
Responsibilities
* Maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts
* Identify growth opportunities and put strategies in place to achieve success
* Achieve or exceed agreed sales targets
* Actively participate in sales activities, including customer visits, under the guidance of the branch manager
* Deal with incoming enquiries to complete all aspects of the order process
* Provide regular feedback on sales performance and market trends
* Ensure in-depth knowledge of the entire product range
* Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements on a business and technical level
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of sales within a B2B environment, preferably within the industrial materials or parts industry
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to think strategically and proactively identify new opportunities
* A demonstrable track record of developing new business
* Ability to work with values of responsiveness, reliability and respect
