M&E Engineer – Static Commercial Site
Location: Frimley
Salary: Up to £45,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Engineer to join a well-established static commercial site in Frimley. This is a long-term, stable opportunity working within a professional on-site engineering team for a reputable facilities provider.
The role is open to engineers with either an electrical or mechanical bias, as long as you are comfortable working across general building services and supporting the wider site operations.
The Role
As an M&E Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and reliability of all mechanical and electrical services on site, ensuring plant and systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across M&E systems
* Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment
* Working on systems including lighting, power, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, and general building services plant
* Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations, site procedures, and statutory compliance
* Accurately completing maintenance documentation and reports
* Working collaboratively as part of a professional on-site engineering team
* Participating in the site call-out rota when required

About You
* Proven background in building services, facilities maintenance, or commercial maintenance
* Either electrical or mechanical bias
* Previous experience within a commercial environment is highly desirable
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements
