The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day
Providing health advice through focused conversations, ensuring patients leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations with customers to ensure they leave feeling informed and confident.
2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
5. Maintaining efficient dispensary operations and minimizing losses.
What you’ll need to have
You should have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services and prior experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or similar is required, with support available for training if not already completed.
Opportunities for further professional development include achieving NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services and registering with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to roles like Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT).
