Medivet Whittlesey and Medivet Peterborough Welland Road are recruiting for a Practice Manager to join the practice. Supported by your Regional Operations Director and Branch Partner at Welland Road, you will manage all aspects of the clinic, including commercial, people management, and operational duties to help maximise the performance of your practices.
Nestled in beautiful surroundings, Medivet Whittlesey is a spacious, airy clinic that has recently been refurbished, offering plenty of natural light, on-site parking, a spacious reception, staff room area, and a garden to enjoy the sunshine.
This is a 40-hour per week position, Monday to Friday, with time split between both practices.

Role Accountabilities
Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do at Medivet. You will:
* Deliver exceptional client care, monitor feedback, and follow up on actions to improve the practice.
* Work closely with the Lead Vet and Regional Operations Director to maximise commercial performance, focusing on KPIs like capacity, skills utilisation, and managing costs.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, practice, and operational standards, conducting audits and sharing best practices.
* Manage practice rotas to ensure service levels and clinical skills utilisation are optimal.
* Set the team up for success through recruitment, induction, ongoing communication, and engagement to improve retention.
* Promote the practice externally via community events and other channels.
Your Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of practice environments, ideally from veterinary, GP, or dental settings.
* Understanding of exceptional care and client experience.
* Awareness of regulation and compliance processes.
* Experience in driving commercial performance through financial management, marketing, and efficient workflows.
* Resource planning experience.
* Coaching and influencing skills to motivate colleagues.
* Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office.
* Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
* Leadership experience in managing teams.
