Group Accountant, PE backed Infrastructure, London, c£65k + 20% bonus
We are working with an international, fast-growing infrastructure business operating in the digital and data space who are looking to hire a Group Accountant to strengthen group reporting and consolidations.
The organisation develops, owns and operates large-scale, mission-critical assets globally, supporting enterprise and hyperscale customers.
This is the perfect role for a technically capable accountant who enjoys working at group level in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment and wants exposure to complex consolidations, audit and reporting in a genuinely global business.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Accountant will support group consolidation and financial reporting across the business, with involvement spanning month-end, audit, systems, technical accounting and process improvement.
The Opportunity:
1. Support group month-end close, consolidation and financial reporting
2. Prepare and review P&L and balance sheet analysis with clear commentary
3. Manage complex intercompany and consolidation eliminations
4. Provide technical accounting input across the group
5. Prepare sections of the annual report and statutory accounts
6. Work closely with external auditors
7. Support holding company accounts
