Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Block Manager experienced in residential and commercial block management, end-to-end service charge accounting with a proven track record of developing, leading and taking responsibility for its day-to-day operation.
This is a unique opportunity for someone to carve out and develop their own career within Wilbury Residential. This can be a hybrid opportunity to work from home and office base.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of assigned blocks, ensuring tenant satisfaction and adherence to lease agreements
* Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues
* Conduct regular inspections of properties to uphold safety standards and property condition
* Handle tenant enquiries via phone and email with professional phone etiquette
* Maintain accurate records of all transactions, correspondence, and maintenance activities
* Responsible for service charge budgeting, expenditure control, credit control and end of year processes
Qualifications
* Proven track record of establishing and leading a Block Management department, winning new business, implementing systems and processes and managing a portfolio from start to finish.
* Familiarity with a property management software is highly desirable
* Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills to provide a professional, customer-focused service at all times
* Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a collaborative approach within the team
* Full UK driving license and own transport is required for site visits, inspections and meeting requirements.
