We're looking for a talented Assistant Manager to join our small but mighty team in a charming 50-seat country pub with a bustling beer garden. Serving fresh, classic pub dishes, this privately owned establishment is run by hands-on owners who need a reliable, customer-focused assistant to help oversee operations and ensure guests have a fantastic experience every time they visit.
Perks of the Job:
* Enjoy 2.5 days off per week, sometimes even 3
* Split shifts during the week with a staff room and activities available
* Straight shifts on weekends
* A reasonable 40-hour workweek
Your Role as Assistant Manager:
* Lead shifts and keep service running seamlessly
* Step in for the owners when they're away
* Train and develop the team
* Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere
* Provide outstanding customer service
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in restaurant supervision or management within a quality, food-led hospitality environment
* Strong understanding of food service and guest satisfaction
* Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable experiences
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
