Location
Hillingdon Granges – comprised of Yiewsley Grange, Colne Grange, Upton Grange. Predominantly based at Upton Grange; may support other sites.
Salary & Contract
Up to £53,200 DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (£2,500 after one month; £2,500 after probation). 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30‑16:30. Permanent – 52 weeks.
About the Role
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team. Working collaboratively with the education team you will deliver bespoke occupational therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence or SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting, clarifying roles and responsibilities while taking into account governing and professional bodies. You will hold an OT caseload with support from your supervisor and site lead, and contribute to staff training and consultation as required. The role is suitable for a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.
Essential Criteria
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
* Valid and up to date HCPC registration; registered member of RCOT
* Relevant experience in providing OT services within a similar setting preferred
* Experience engaging with neurodivergent and/or learning difficulty and/or socio‑emotional and mental health difficulties in any setting, and evidenced transferable skills
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently
* Clear and concise report writing skills
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training in progress or completed is preferable, however not essential)
