Position: Plant Operations Manager – Hazardous waste
Salary: up to £60,000 per annum + car allowance, performance bonus, pension, and comprehensive company benefits
Location: Bilston, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas

Our client, a national provider of waste management and recycling services, is seeking a results-driven professional to elevate site performance and boost profitability as the Site General Manager/Plant Manager at their state-of-the-art chemical processing plant.
Key Responsibilities: Direct the seamless, efficient operations of a hazardous waste processing facility.
Guide and motivate a compact team to deliver outstanding day-to-day performance.
Champion continuous improvements to optimize efficiency and drive operational excellence.
Essential Qualifications & Experience: Strong history in hazardous waste treatment, chemical manufacturing, or comparable production environments.
Proven leadership in team supervision with full P&L responsibility.
IOSH Managing Safely certification (minimum requirement).
HND in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (degree-level qualification preferred).
Prior experience on a COMAH-regulated site highly desirable.
WAMITAB COTC4, business management qualifications, or similar credentials.
Track record of long-term stability, especially in roles focused on people leadership
