Salary: £26,000 - 30,000 per year Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong social skills for teamwork and client interaction. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft software products, including Windows and Office 365, as well as Server OS and Active Directory. Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc.). Familiarity with Unifi, Meraki, Fortinet, and similar products. Knowledge of VoIP-based telephone systems. Minimum of 2 years of service desk experience. Field experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Full clean UK driving license. A commitment to personal development. Responsibilities: Provide support for IT issues received via phone, email, and our CRM system. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues both remotely and on-site. Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including firewalls, servers, networks, VoIP, and end-user devices. Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, and networking solutions. Conduct on-site visits for hardware repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Document incidents and resolutions, as well as create knowledge base articles for common issues. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex IT challenges. Deliver the highest quality communication and customer service. Coordinate with third parties to resolve issues efficiently. Complete Partner Certifications. You will predominantly be based in our office in Ellesmere Port, with travel to client sites across the UK, which may necessitate occasional overnight stays. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary ranging from £26,000 to £30,000 per year.
