About the Role
Resourcery Group is partnering with one of the North West region's most recent success stories to hire a Head of Finance for overseeing a significant project. This is a permanent position resulting from recent long-term contract wins.
The Head of Finance will collaborate closely with both Commercial and Operational teams to drive business performance, act as a finance business partner, and monitor project performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate, timely, and reliable financial control, reporting, and management information.
* Present the financial state of the business stream clearly and assess the financial impact of management decisions.
* Work with project controls and commercial teams to ensure robust financial governance, controls, and accurate contract outturn forecasting.
* Support revenue maximization and cash conversion, highlighting areas of concern to the senior finance team.
* Assist business stream management in interpreting financial and contractual information to identify and implement corrective actions or opportunities quickly.
Key Requirements
* Qualified Accountant
* Experience in a project accounting environment
* Strong influencing and communication skills at all levels
* Experience working with customers, senior management, and auditors (internal and external)
* Good business and process analysis skills
