We are proud to be partnering with a multi-disciplinary specialist construction firm, who are looking to appoint a Clerk of Works on a permanent contract.
This will be a full-time position based in South-East London, with a salary up to £50,000 plus a £3,000 car allowance.
The ideal candidate will be a member of ICWCI and have experience with residential projects.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Ensuring that the quality of both materials and workmanship are in accordance with the design information such as specification, drawings and quality standards
* Confirming that the inspections are performed in a manner that confirms the reported results
* Studying the contract drawings and schedules, and information produced by consultants and specialists
* Establishing lines of communication with the project Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor, architect, the contractor’s site supervisory or project manager
* Studying the Health and Safety Plan for the project, British Standards and Approved Codes of Conduct
