You'll be responsible for supporting recovery, promoting independence and ensuring the safety and well-being of the people we support throughout the night. Your duties will include creating care plans, administering medication, monitoring mental and physical health, and responding calmly and effectively to any challenges that arise. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a supportive and recovery-focused environment. Our Ideal Nurse Will Have: Essential: Experience in mental health or rehabilitation settings An active NMC registration Knowledge of current legislation A holistic approach to promoting recovery and independence Desired: Experience in writing care plans and completing risk assessments Knowledge of health and safety guidelines Medication training About Brookhaven and The Hamptons Brookhaven, located in Bamber Bridge, is a 23-bed, mixed-gender open rehabilitation service for adults aged 18 and over. The service supports individuals with enduring mental health needs to build confidence and skills through structured routines and meaningful community connections, including leisure, education and vocational activities. Next door is The Hamptons, a 14-bed purpose-built inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Preston, Lancashire. The Hamptons provides a step-down service for men transitioning from secure or PICU environments. The team adopts a recovery model approach to support individuals with complex mental health conditions, offering longer-term treatment and structured support within a controlled setting.
