We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join their growing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader with a solid manufacturing background to take ownership of a large team within a fast‑paced production environment.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring productivity targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
You will lead from the front, driving performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead a team of 30+ manufacturing staff
* Hands on, coordinating orders through multiple processes
* Ensure daily production targets and KPIs are achieved
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
* Implement and maintain 5S standards across the production area
* Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with company procedures
* Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture
* Support training, development, and performance management of team members
* Work closely with the Operations Team to improve processes and efficiencies
About You
* Proven experience in a Manufacturing Supervisor (or similar) role
* Experience supervising at least 30 staff in a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge and practical experience of Lean manufacturing and 5S methodologies
* Demonstrable experience improving processes and driving efficiencies
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Results‑driven with the ability to manage performance and motivate teams
* Strong problem‑solving skills and decision‑making ability
