Qualification: Registered as a Class 3 G‑H Building Inspector with the Building Safety Regulator.
Professional Registration Body Membership: Chartered Associate of Building Engineers (MCABE), Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Chartered Engineer (CEng), Institute of Structural Engineers (MIStructE) or equivalent.
Essential Car Documentation: Must hold a full valid driving licence and provide own car for work; Essential Car User Allowance will be paid.

This is an essential role that has a critical bearing on the council’s ability to meet statutory obligations for building safety legislation and contributes significantly to the council’s resilience capabilities.

About the Candidate
We would love to hear from you if you are a registered Class 3 G‑H inspector and are interested in developing your skills and enhancing your experience by working in a busy city environment.
Essential requirements for the role:
* Registered with the Building Safety Regulator as a Class 3 G‑H Building Inspector.
* Holds professional membership of a building control related organisation – Chartered Associate of Building Engineers (MCABE), Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Chartered Engineer (CEng), Institute of Structural Engineers (MIStructE) or equivalent.
* Must possess relevant building control related knowledge and be able to demonstrate experience acquired while working in a Local Authority or Registered Building Control Approver organisation.
* A full UK driving licence is required.
