Requirements
Must have:
- An advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript - An advanced understanding of version control (Git) - Proficiency in the Laravel framework - Experience building applications in other advanced frameworks like React, Express, etc. - A good understanding of database fundamentals - A keen eye for detail and ability to visually match development to designs - Excellent problem-solving skills - Passionate about development and knowledgeable about web development and digital technologies - Previous experience using and building websites in WordPress - Other experience in any CMS such as Shopify, OpenCart, etc. will be hugely beneficial - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Proficient in using and writing APIs - Manage LAMP Stack hosting environments including server configuration, website deployment, and maintenance - Collaborate with designers to deliver high-quality end products - Previous experience using build tools like NPM, Webpack, Gulp, and Grunt
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and developing websites and online applications using clean, efficient code in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Write well-structured, organized, and scalable code in advanced frameworks like Laravel, Node, SCSS, and more - Take projects from designs to fully built usable websites/applications - Build fully manageable and customizable websites using CMS systems like Shopify and WordPress - Build and maintain applications in MVC frameworks, particularly Laravel - Help to debug and test websites and online applications using varied browsers, devices, and technologies - Bring your own ideas to the table and become an integral part of a growing team
