Job Description
* Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
* Implement and monitor system upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance.
* Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
* Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards.
* Document processes, configurations, and changes to infrastructure systems.
* Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
* Liaise and work with third parties and vendors to ensure service levels are met
* Act as technical escalation point where necessary as part of a technical support escalation or lead during incident resolution
* Participate in the IT on-call rota providing 24x7x365 cover
The Successful Applicant
* Deep understanding of Windows Server, M365 and Linux operating system
* Expert understanding of cloud platforms - Azure (preferred), GCP.
* Expert knowledge of M365
* Strong knowledge in Identity Management - Active Directory, EntraID, Azure AD
* Confident in the build/configuration/management of HPe hardware
* Good understanding of core network services - DNS, DHCP.
* Comfortable with advanced PowerShell scripting
Desirable
* Knowledge of build automation - AutoPilot
* Knowledge of monitoring tools - Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, AppInsights
