Mobile Water Treatment Technician T2
Reading | Permanent Position
NRLis working in partnership with a leading provider of technical, facilities management, regeneration, and energy services. As such NRL are currently recruiting for aMobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 2)to join our client’s team on a permanent basis, to be based out of a modern and contemporary office in Reading.
About the Role:
As the Mobile Water Treatment Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective operation of water treatment systems across various sites. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits using appropriate tools and systems.
* Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently to maintain optimal system performance.
* Performing closed water system analytical tests, interpreting results, and carrying out necessary remediation works.
What You Will Need:
* City & Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent) relevant to the role and Tier grading.
* Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of water treatment systems and processes.
* Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and guidance, including:
o Water Supply Regulations / Byelaws
o L8 ACOP
o HSG274
o Other applicable industry standards
Skills & Requirements:
* Excellent fault diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to interpret water analysis results and implement corrective actions.
* Full, valid UK driving licence (essential for mobile role).
