The Transformation Manager will drive operational change across a Part 21G production facility, improving production space, layout, and flow, while leading the transition of selected activities from in-house delivery to approved subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead site transformation activities to improve production layout, space utilisation, workflow, and operational efficiency.
* Plan and deliver changes to manufacturing operations in compliance with Part 21G and internal governance requirements.
* Identify, scope, and manage the transfer of selected in-house activities to approved subcontractors.
* Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders including Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Compliance.
* Ensure continuity of quality, safety, and product conformity during all transformation and outsourcing activities.
* Develop and maintain transformation plans, schedules, and risk assessments.
* Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and address issues to minimise disruption to ongoing operations.
* Support change management and communication with affected teams.
* Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives across manufacturing operations.
* Contribute to capacity planning and future site development activities.
* Support internal and external audits related to Part 21G changes and subcontracted activities.
* Provide input to business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and investment proposals.
* Support performance monitoring of subcontractors in collaboration with Quality and Supply Chain.
* Capture lessons learned and best practices to support ongoing transformation efforts.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in production layout optimisation, workflow improvement, or industrial engineering
* Solid understanding of quality compliance, and configuration control in aerospace manufacturing
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multi-disciplinary teams
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
