Are you completing (or have you recently completed) a degree that relates to working with children, young people, or education?
If you’ve studied Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Counselling, Social Sciences, English, Maths, Drama, Fine Art or another subject where you’ve gained transferable skills for supporting children’s learning and development, this is a fantastic opportunity to put your knowledge into practice in the classroom.
We’re working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across North Manchester who are looking for passionate graduates to join them this September as support staff. These roles are a great first step if you’re considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, counselling, SEND support, youth work, or mentoring.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting pupils in class, in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis
* Helping with literacy, numeracy, play-based and creative activities
* Providing additional support to children with SEND or other learning needs (full training provided)
* Building positive relationships to encourage confidence, independence, and engagement
* Gaining invaluable school-based experience ahead of teacher training or further study
