The Role
The Hertfordshire Community Trustcommunity neuro team are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist orPhysiotherapist to support the team to cover a secondment. The role willrequire the ability to drive and access a car as the team covers the East andNorth of the county. The main base is in Welwyn, near Welwyn Garden city, butdepending on your location, you may be able to work primarily in an area of thecounty closest to your home.
The Stroke Team delivering care inpatients homes across the East and North of Hertfordshire to patients who havebeen recently discharged home from hospital following a strokes and orwith our Neuro outpatient team which isa combination of clinic bases and home visits for the wider neuro population,common conditions seen in this team are MS, Parkinsons, and Rare and Rapiddiseases.
Both teams provide excellent supportwith experienced senior staff, and work as a wider MDT with the support ofPhysio, Clinical Psychology, specialist nursing and SALT.
Main duties of the job
