An exciting opportunity for a Business Administrator (Data/Reporting) has become available in our Operations Centre. The Operations Centre is dedicated to providing technical support to the UK submarine fleet in service and in build.

The team work in a high energy, dynamic environment, managing and rectifying issues with the Nuclear Steam Raising Plant and its maintenance package.

As the Business Administrator in this varied role, you will be monitoring team performance and assisting in achieving targets and expectations. You will be in regular contact not only with the engineering teams and the Group Leaders you will also be liaising with the Ministry of Defence personnel.

You will support the manager and Group Leads in the business management of the department, analysing data and collating vital reports and presentations.

What you will be doing

1. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal stakeholders
2. Collating vital presentations to support the management team
3. Developing and managing group metrics.
4. Monitoring and managing resource requests vs resource availability for the area.
5. Co-ordination of key group customer and internal meetings.
6. Supporting the Managers and Group Leads in your area.

Who we’re looking for:

7. Business Administration or Business Support or Co-ordination experience ideally in a target driven engineering/manufacturing or technical environment
8. Experience compiling monthly, quarterly and annual reports
9. Data analysis and report writing capabilities,
10. Capable stakeholder management skills
11. Experience in a target focussed structured organisation
12. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
