Job Title: Healthcare Assistant - Complex Care (Female Only)
Location: Braintree, Essex
Rate of Pay: £14 per hour
Shifts: Days and Nights (8 AM - 8 PM), 2-4 Shifts per week (12-hour shifts)
Contract Type: Full-time/ Part-time
Specialism: Complex Care (2:1 Support for a Stroke/Epilepsy client)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to support a female client in her 50s who has experienced a life-changing stroke in her home. This is a fulfilling and dynamic role offering the opportunity to learn new skills and build a meaningful care relationship.
Key responsibilities may include:
* PEG feeding and medication administration.
* Managing complex medical conditions, including Epilepsy, Arthritis, and Cerebrovascular disease (stroke-related conditions).
* Supporting mobility, unable to mobilise and uses a wheelchair.
* Level five diet and level two fluid (due to difficulty swallowing/inability to eat or drink orally).
* Managing pain, numbness, burning, and tingling, and sleep trouble.
* Personal care
You'll receive full training and undertake shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident and well prepared.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 6 months of professional care experience
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
