An experienced midwife will join the Intrapartum Coordinators team within the Maternity Triage department at the Oxford Road site. You will coordinate the midwives and multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective and safe patient flow and a quality service that adheres to local and national guidelines. You will develop practice as a midwifery expert, provide advice to colleagues, work in partnership with other agencies, and manage complex situations in a fast‑paced acute environment. You will collaborate closely with the Labour Ward Coordinating Midwife, the Triage Ward Manager, the Midwifery Matron for Intrapartum Care, the Deputy Head of Midwifery, and the Head of Midwifery.
Qualifications
* R.M
* Teaching and experience in supervising students
* Educated to degree level
* Evidence of level 7 studies
* Educated to Masters Level
Experience
* Extensive experience at band 6 level
* Evidence of good organisational and planning skills
* Recent evidence of continuing professional and personal development
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Experience in dealing with complaints
* Implementation of audit / research
* Experience of change management
* Experience of line management
* Experience in benchmarking

Salary
£49,387 to £56,515 a year (Pro Rata)
