Our Sustainability team helps clients measure, manage, and reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, achieving broader sustainability goals. Our services include:
* City/regional carbon reduction programs
* Development of carbon management and Net Zero strategies
* Carbon footprint and ESG disclosures
* Energy saving opportunities and investment support
* Green building certification for real estate projects
* Decarbonisation and heat decarbonisation plans

Our Cities & Workplaces team is growing to meet rising demand from private and public sectors. We seek individuals with experience in building certification and/or real estate decarbonisation to strengthen our resources.
Job Description
We seek individuals experienced in Heat Network (HN) and broader Distributed Energy (DE) projects, which include low to zero carbon heat and power networks, solar PV, heat pumps, energy storage, demand flexibility, and electric vehicle charging systems.
Ideal candidates will have experience in project development (scoping, business case, finance, high-level technical consultancy) for schemes involving heat networks, local energy networks, smart grids, and integration with home EV charging or battery storage.
Qualifications
We are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in HN and DE across various projects. The essential competencies include:
* High-quality service delivery and client management
* Consultancy experience in DE and HN projects
* Proven track record in facilitating DE schemes and meeting KPIs
* Experience overcoming barriers in project stages like feasibility, commercialisation, procurement, and delivery
* Knowledge of DE technologies and solutions
* Strong customer relationship skills
* Understanding of metering, billing regulations, and government policies on HN
* Programme management and organizational skills
* Knowledge of energy demands, regulations, and codes like CP1 and Part L
Preferred skills include business development, stakeholder engagement, energy strategy development, and data analysis.
