Have a track record of driving activation and conversion in a B2C digital environment—ideally for subscription or freemium products?

About our team:

We are the team behind ScienceDirect, the world’s leading platform for peer-reviewed scientific, technical, and medical literature. Our mission is to empower researchers and professionals by delivering trusted insights through seamless digital experiences. About the Role:

* Design and run experiments including A/B and multivariate tests to validate growth strategies

* Launch metered AI access for first-time users to explore features in a meaningful way

* Highlight value for entitled users through clear and contextual guidance

* Define success metrics and work with data teams to monitor performance

* Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and other partners to deliver improvements

* Champion user-centered, agile product thinking across the organization

Requirements:

* A good amount of experience in product management for consumer digital or freemium products

* Proven success optimizing activation or growth funnels using data and experimentation

* Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Amplitude or Google Analytics and growth frameworks

* Experience working cross-functionally with designers, engineers, and marketing teams

* Effective communication and storytelling skills tailored to diverse stakeholders

* Ability to make decisions with incomplete data, adapt to change, and drive impact

* Experience with AI-powered tools, recommendation systems, or academic content platforms
