We’re recruiting!
Join us as a Learning Disability Support Worker and help build a future where learning disabled people live the best life possible.
We know that life can be complicated for everybody. But some of us are stopped from working towards our dreams. Many learning disabled people won’t be heard about the support they’d like. Some won’t get to decide what they do for work. Or how to spend or save their money. Many won't get to try out the new hobbies they’d love to try.
But you can change all that.
Join our growing team in Shefford, and get all the training you need to become a confident Support Worker.
Do you feel like our values — Kind, Diverse, Positive, and Visionary — are a good match to your values? Then we’ve got lots in common already. Come on board and support learning disabled adults with those very values to develop skills, achieve their life goals, and thrive in your community.
What we offer you
* Location: Shefford (Residential)
* Salary: £12.77 per hour
* Working hours: 22.5 hours + casual opportunities, including early shifts, late shifts, and every other weekend and sleep-ins.
* Sleep-ins paid at £45.06

What you’ll be doing
Every day is different. You may support someone with shopping, outdoor adventures, personal care, attending gigs, using public transport, or managing money. Your role is to help people discover new interests, achieve goals, and maintain relationships with family and friends.
You’ll provide high-quality care and support, listening to individual needs, assisting with daily tasks like medication and cooking, and helping build confidence for new experiences. Supporting a variety of shifts helps maintain your work-life balance.
Having a full driving license is beneficial but not essential.
We look forward to meeting you at our Shefford services!
