* Excellent starting salary at £39,500 per annum
* Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
* Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week)
* Edinburgh based when working on-site

What Does the Disability Assessor Role Involve?
The Functional Assessor role will involve carrying out 5-6 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You'll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

What We Look For
* An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year's or more broad post-registration experience
* Someone who's proactive and keen to learn
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Competent IT and computer skillsComfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
