Our exclusive client based in Chorley are currently recruiting for a Purchase Leger Clerk to join their team. This well known business have a very stable and long standing accounts team and are looking for someone to join them due to acquiring new sites which has generated extra work.
The duties of the role:
Sole responsibility for the utility invoices ensuring the correct people are invoiced for each site
Input all invoices onto the system
Code, scan and process utility invoices ready for payment
Obtain meter readings where necessary and liaise with suppliers
Liaise with 5 regional offices by email and telephone
Assist in the posting of non-utility invoices for all companies
Assist with payment runs
Bank reconciliations
You need to have good Excel skills, strong interpersonal skills, have a keen eye for detail and be a friendly team player.
