Chartered Building Surveyor – Leeds | Permanent | Hybrid Working

We’re working with a growing consultancy who are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their Leeds team. This is a senior role where you’ll lead on a variety of projects, mentor junior surveyors, and provide expert advice across construction and property portfolios.
What you’ll be doing
* Carrying out detailed building surveys and technical reports
* Acting as a key client contact, offering clear and professional advice
* Delivering services such as Dilapidations, Party Wall matters, Planned Preventative Maintenance, and Fire Compartmentation surveys
* Managing construction projects and acting as Contract Administrator/Employer’s Agent
* Supporting planning and building regulation applications
* Advising on sustainability, compliance and health & safety matters
* Leading, supervising and developing Graduate/Building Surveyors
* Contributing to business development and recruitment initiatives
What we’re looking for
* Significant experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally in a consultancy environment
* Strong technical knowledge of surveying, property legislation and building regulations
* Excellent client-facing communication skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Experience in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
* MRICS or FRICS status
