Job Description
New Directions Education is recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in Warrington, covering Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. This is an ideal opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable experience across different year groups and school settings.
The Role:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, following school plans and policies.
• Provide short-term, long-term, and day-to-day cover as required.
• Adapt quickly to new school environments while maintaining positive behaviour and high expectations.
• Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing, ensuring continuity of education in the absence of the class teacher.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it.
• ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Confident delivering lessons across the primary age range or keen to develop this experience.
• Flexible, reliable, and adaptable with strong classroom management skills.
• Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or already registered with the Update Service).
• Able to provide recent employment or training references.
