Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive and develop.
Duties
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
* Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
* Support children's social and emotional development through effective communication and guidance.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively.
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues alike.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or excursions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £100.00-£130.00 per day
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Epsom KT18: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Level 2/3 in Childcare & Education (preferred)
