What you’ll be doing Overseeing care teams to ensure services are safe, effective, and truly person-centred. Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new care workers. Providing ongoing training, mentoring, and field observations to develop your team’s skills. Leading team meetings, briefings, and engagement sessions to keep communication strong. Managing rotas, annual leave, absences, appraisals, and performance reviews. Ensuring compliance with quality, documentation, and safeguarding standards. Handling day-to-day service issues, incidents, and complaints calmly and professionally. Flexibility to be part of the on-call rota to provide leadership and support outside standard hours when needed. What we’re looking for NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards). Experience delivering domiciliary or community care, with a passion for high standards. Strong communication and organisational skills, with confidence using IT systems. A proactive, supportive leader who motivates others through encouragement and example. Flexible, approachable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Desirable: Experience using Google Drive and Gmail. Previous involvement in recruitment, training, or onboarding. Familiarity with domiciliary care compliance standards. Why join Choices Homecare?
