The Manager, Fleet Operations Italy Spain & Portugal, is part of a global team overseeing the company's car program, a key benefit for eligible employees. The role involves managing all activities related to company cars in Italy, Spain & Portugal, including reporting, analytics, cost reduction initiatives, process improvements, project management, and coordinating with external suppliers. The position reports to the Senior Manager Fleet Operations EMEA and emphasizes analytics and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to initiatives such as cost reduction, EV by 2040, and policy guidelines.
* Develop and review local policies, identify process improvement opportunities based on analytics and trends.
* Examine market trends, lead integration of new suppliers, and negotiate contracts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data consistency and resolve discrepancies.
* Manage invoice processing and vendor payments.
* Build and maintain the Car List aligned with safety, environment, and budget goals.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and create business cases for new procedures.
* Lead projects related to environmental requirements and change management.
* Support stakeholders on mobility initiatives supporting BMS goals.
Reports and Analytics
* Maintain global scorecards and KPIs.
* Prepare budget forecasts and quarterly projections; produce reports for stakeholders.
* Generate management reports and ad-hoc queries.
* Support business reviews of fleet providers.
* Advise drivers on local law and tax regulations related to company cars.
Operational Management
* Serve as the first contact for internal stakeholders regarding fleet management questions.
* Maintain good relationships with work councils and ensure fleet operations align with employee interests and regulations.
* Coordinate with external vendors for daily support and escalations.
* Manage fleet inbox and daily vehicle operations.
* Partner with category leads to implement best practices and improve processes.
* Evaluate maintenance and repair decisions, facilitate insurance and compliance activities.
* Coordinate vehicle assignments for new hires, transfers, and terminations.
* Work with EHS on safety training and medical exceptions.
* Manage external vendors for fine management, tolls, parking, and accident reporting.
* Analyze mobility trends and employee needs, and implement local projects.
Supplier Performance and Relationship Management
* Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
* Support supplier management activities and contract analysis.
* Assist in resolving escalated issues with suppliers.
Qualifications & Experience - Minimum Requirements
* B.S./B.A. degree.
* Fluent in English and at least Italian and/or Spanish.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience.
* 2-4 years of multi-disciplinary fleet or related experience, including data analysis and visualization skills.
* Experience in a global services role and cross-functional collaboration.
* Knowledge of procurement, contract management, financial and market analysis, and supply chain strategies.
