La Fosse are partnered with a global technology services business who urgently require a Data Engineer, highly experiecned in Databricks, for a 6 month contract (Inside IR35).
They need a experiecned Data Engineer to develop and enhance data solutions within Databricks. In this role, you will build and optimise scalable ETL pipelines supporting a reporting and analytics platform, integrating data from various enterprise systems. You will ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability while contributing to continuous improvements in the data platform.
Key responsibilities include designing efficient data workflows, implementing data quality checks (for tools like Power BI) developing data pipleines and models, collaborating with engineering and visualisation teams, and and maintaining data governance standards.
The ideal candidate has:
1. Extensive experience working with Databricks, strong SQL and Python skills
2. expertise in data modelling and validation
3. Experience building and optimising data pipelines
4. familiarity with Git-based development practices
Hybrid Model (2 days per week in Cambridge)
6 months contract, Inside IR35 via Umbrella
