Hours of work: Leadership - School Term working
Rate of Pay: Salary Range - £50,603 - £53,153 (depending on experience)
Marydale Lodge is Nugent's flagship service offering specialised care and education to some of the most vulnerable young people in our community. A 14-bed secure children's‑home, Marydale Lodge offers protection and support for young people with high‑risk behaviours, working with them to identify underlying causes and stabilise them. The service is a highly rewarding setting to work in, with a close‑knit supportive team of staff.
About the role
The Education Lead at Marydale Lodge leads a small team of specialist teachers and support staff to offer highly personalised education to young people with complex needs. Our education provision has seen sustained improvement over recent years, and we are now looking for a highly skilled and committed leader to work with our dedicated team to consolidate this work. Our education team works alongside highly specialist care and health teams to provide holistic support for young people.
Experience & Skills
* Experience of working in leading specialist provision in therapeutic settings
* A thorough understanding of meeting the educational needs of vulnerable young people
* Demonstrable leadership skills, with experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
