A role within the Medical Equipment Management Service at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh supports the delivery of medical equipment management services as part of a team providing medical equipment services within NHS Lothian.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support and carry out service and repair work on a wide range of medical devices.
* Support the day‑to‑day running of the service across multiple hospitals and clinics in Lothian.
* Travel to various hospital sites and work with multidisciplinary teams.
* Contribute to quality and patient service improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
* SCQF level 8 or higher in an electrical/electronic discipline, or equivalent training and experience.
* Self‑motivated and able to work effectively within a team.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible, methodical approach to tasks.
* PVG Scheme membership/record required; if not current, must obtain satisfactory Disclosure Scotland record.
