Contract Manager
Hybrid (3/2 or 4/1)
The Company
GMA are recruiting for a leading rotating equipment service provider that leads the way in offering global customers high end rotating equipment services such as overhaul, repairs, maintenance, spares and parts.
Due to their continued growth, they are now looking to add to their team a contracts manager to lead customer contracts and projects moving forward.
The Role
This is a hybrid role where you will (as part of the site senior leadership team) manage key accounts/customers and ad hoc order book activities through leading a team of contracts engineers, where you will look to drive performance against relatable KPI’s such as on time delivery, cost and margin controls.
You and your team will also look to develop opportunities to upsell through active contract and order book management, that will maximise commercial returns on projects won.
Typically, you will be responsible for contracts and projects with values of anywhere between £50k - £5m with customers based in the UK and Europe.
This is a superb opportunity that will allow you to shape, evolve and grow the contacts department as the business continues its growth plan.
The Candidate
Ideally you will
1. Be from a mech eng background (ideally with a min of HNC)
2. Have had a number of years in project or contracts management with the ability to manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle including design, manufacturing, site installation and commissioning.
3. Having some form of experience of rotating equipment would be great but not a deal breaker.
4. Preference would be to have someone that has leadership and management experience but if you have strong contracts and project experience and would see this as a step up that would also be welcome.
