Element recruitment have been engaged by a client in the Bath area to a recruit a financial analyst for their team. This role will involve high quality internal financial reporting, analysis of budgeting and forecasting models and identifying areas for continuous improvement in a growing environment.
Role and Responsibilities
* Supporting senior stakeholders with developing long term planning and reporting models for the business
* Owning large income streams, analysing them on a month by month basis, with subsequent produced commentary on findings
* Contribution to external and internal reporting requirements, using appropriate BI tools.
* Ownership of specific reporting areas, driving continuous improvement and enhancing insight for decision makers
* Develop forecasting models, using industry specific costing models to drive growth.
Key Characteristics
* Awareness of financial reporting standards
* Strong with, and take a keen interest in financial reporting
* Finalist, or Newly Qualified with a relevant accounting body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
* Able to work fluently as part of a team
* Fluent with Microsoft excel, and wider elements of the Microsoft package.
