Job Description:
Our client, a leading financial services firm, has a great opportunity for an Assistant Company Secretary to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Company Secretary in delivering corporate governance and company secretarial services across regulatory frameworks.
Skills/Experience:
* Experience in governance and/or company secretarial roles in Financial Services.
* Professional qualifications such as Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) or legal qualifications preferred.
* Strong communication skills.
* Team player with high attention to detail.
Core Responsibilities:
* Providing comprehensive company secretariat services to the firm's governance bodies.
* Attending meetings and preparing minutes to a high standard.
* Preparing analyses and reports on corporate governance and regulatory matters.
* Maintaining corporate records, statutory registers, and filing necessary returns.
* Supporting the development and implementation of best practice corporate governance standards.
* Offering advice and support to stakeholders regarding governance requirements.
* Assisting with drafting and maintaining policies related to corporate governance, including training standards and appointment procedures.
