Prudential Principal/ Senior Consultant
We are searching for an experienced Prudential Principal/ Senior Consultant.

We focus on business transformation, deal services, finance support, risk and governance, forensic services, and restructuring. Our goal is to support clients strategic objectives and empower our team members to develop their careers.
This role is within our Risk Assurance, Financial Services, specifically the Prudential Team, which advises clients on prudential regulation, helping them maintain adequate financial resources and manage risks in line with regulatory and business needs. Clients range from challenger firms to established financial institutions across the UK and internationally.
As a Principal/Senior Consultant, you will deliver advisory and internal audit services, conduct technical research, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development, all aligned with RSM’s methodologies and risk management standards.
Your responsibilities include:
* Delivering high-quality client work, including reviews of prudential risk matters.
* Supporting engagement managers with daily client engagement activities.
* Conducting document and model reviews, gap analyses, and regulatory research.
* Structuring and leading client interviews and process walkthroughs.
* Developing solutions, drafting reports, and presenting recommendations.
* Communicating technical regulatory rules internally and to clients.
* Managing engagement lifecycle aspects like budgets and resources.
* Assisting in tender document preparation and business development.
* Contributing to the growth of RSM’s Financial Services brand through market research, proposition development, and thought leadership.
Ideal candidate profile:
* Experience in banking, wealth and asset management, or insurance sectors.
* Strong knowledge of prudential risk issues, regulations, and industry practices.
* Experience in professional services or regulated financial institutions, with internal audit experience a plus.
* Degree or equivalent experience; professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA, FRM) is desirable.
