Please browse the selection below to find a suitable volunteering opportunity in your local area:

Ayrshire Tigers PFC is a community-based Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) based in Ayr, working in partnership with the Scottish Powerchair Football Association (SPFA) to provide equal opportunities for powerchair users in Ayrshire to engage in team sports.

The club is an independent organization run by its own Board of Trustees, elected by its members. It focuses on providing opportunities to play, coach, and support powerchair football, and is open to everyone. The team currently competes in the Scottish Powerchair Football Premiership.

Founded to benefit powerchair users in Ayrshire, the club aims to foster community, prevent isolation, and create a welcoming, fun environment where members can be part of a team.

Ayrshire Tigers PFC is seeking to recruit experienced and qualified individuals to join our Board of Trustees. This is a rewarding opportunity to help develop, grow, and sustain the club, especially in a challenging financial environment. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in:

* Grant Funding Applications
* Fundraising
* Marketing

* Pursues its charitable purposes as outlined in its Governing Document
* Complies with relevant legislation and regulations
* Develops a funding strategy for sustainability
* Maintains financial stability
* Resources are managed effectively

Trustees should be able to attend at least 75% of meetings annually, participate actively, review papers beforehand, and undertake additional tasks as needed. Support is available for new trustees, even without prior experience.

A full UK driving license is desirable but not essential. The club offers training and PVG checks for volunteers.

To apply, please send a covering letter (max 2 sides of A4) and CV to info@ayrshiretigers.co.uk. Interviews will be conducted via video conference by a panel of current trustees.

Benefits of joining:

* Supporting the organization’s work
* Networking and meeting new people
* Being part of a team
* Developing skills

Experience in managing or running a business or charity is advantageous, particularly in finance, business management, community development, IT/web, fundraising, admin, or PR/marketing.
