Java Developer - £55k - £65k | Bristol Based Java, Springboot, CI/CD, Cloud I’ve partnered up with an award-winning tech firm who need a Java Engineer who’s ready to dive into meaningful, real-world engineering challenges. You’ll be joining a high-performing team working on advanced backend systems that support critical infrastructure technology that operates in some of the most demanding environments on the planet. This is a role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, writing clean and maintainable code, and contributing to systems that genuinely matter. In this role, you’ll be designing and developing new product features using Java 17, Spring, and GraphQL. You’ll help modernise and scale backend microservices, automate cloud infrastructure and streamline their build processes with Gradle. You’ll also play a key part in shaping their CI/CD pipelines, enabling them to deploy to production multiple times a day. We’re looking for someone with solid experience in Java (4/5 years plus) and the Spring ecosystem, who understands backend architecture and API design. You should be comfortable working in cloud environments and have a strong grasp of CI/CD principles. If you’re passionate about clean code, love working in Agile teams, and enjoy collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality software, you’ll fit right in. In return, the salary is in the range of £55,000 to £65,000, along with a bonus, private medical cover, and a generous holiday scheme. They support hybrid working, with 2–3 days a week in office.
